it's okay to be overwhelmed with the spirit

for in the spirit we find the power
to present peace to all human beings
people make up the idea of human kindness
only humans are kind in the troubled word
so to make this a world a kind of world
we want to live in
bring on the good will towards men
each one teach one
we are all brothers & sisters of the universe

celebrating the good times with the folks we once knew

the human spirit is powerful
enough so to believe
in written words

think about the poor
when the reality of a picnic
is nothing more
is just a normal fact of life
and every thing don't taste better outside
struggle & strife
a face in the crowd
mixed-up with a broken heart
alone pushing a shopping cart
trying to get lost
packing up to leave town
say goodbye forever to yourself
where god left his shoes
and it's to the ones with the homeless blues
and all your troubles & cares
the world is so big
everyone's got a story
where there is nowhere to sleep
at this time of year is special
outside where there is a white christmas
without a happy ending
so,remember the children who got nothing
and don't get so wrapped up in your family and yourself
understand the christmas spirit
